Michael McKee, CEO & Director
Mike brings 20+ years of cross-functional, global experience in technology to ObserveIT.
Previously, Mike led the award-winning Global Services and Customer Success organizations at Rapid7, served as Senior Vice President CAD Operations and Strategy at PTC, and Chief Financial Officer at HighWired.com. Additionally, he held Analyst roles at Broadview Associates, McKinsey & Company, and Goldman Sachs. Mike played professional hockey as a defenseman for the Quebec Nordiques. He graduated cum laude from Princeton University and received an M.B.A., with honors, from Harvard Business School.
Mayank Choudhary, VP of Products
Mayank Choudhary, MC, is a technology leader with more than 18 years of Cybersecurity and Content Management industry experience. MC is responsible for charting and executing the strategic course of ObserveIT’s solutions. His prior experience includes serving as VP, Product Management, at Intralinks where he built the Enterprise business and managed the cloud platform, Director of Product Management, Identity Management & Governance, CloudMinder portfolio for CA Technologies and senior product management positions at Dell EMC. MC holds an M.B.A. from the University of Albany, a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Akron, a B.S. in Computer Science from Nagpur University and an Executive Education degree in Strategy & Innovation from MIT.
Nicole L. Durocher, VP of Finance – Global Controller
Nicole has deep experience in the high-growth technology sector and an accomplished track record of building organizations, analyzing business needs, and successfully implementing systems and processes necessary to drive company success.
Prior to ObserveIT, Nicole was the Controller at Bullhorn and held various positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Houghton Mifflin Publishing and Thomson Financial Services. Nicole graduated from Saint Anselm College and earned her M.S. from Bentley University’s Graduate School of Business.
Alex Kremer, Chief Architect
Alex joins the engineering team with more than 20 years of experience covering micro-service architectures and collaborative platforms, cloud computing, media processing, distributed systems, data security and cryptography. Prior to joining ObserveIT, Alex served as the VP of Platform Architecture, Intralinks, where he led the Platform Architecture team and the design of the collaborative SaaS platform blueprint and foundational services. Alex also served as Chief Cloud Platform Architect at Avid Technology and held senior technology positions at Guardium (now IBM InfoSphere Guardium), a database security and insider threat mitigation solution, and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Kremer holds both a Bachelor and Master degree in Computer Science from the Hebrew University in Israel.
Brian Popiel, CFO
Brian comes to ObserveIT with a diverse background in finance and law, having spent a number of years in investment management as an analyst and portfolio manager covering the financial services sector at Amundi Pioneer Investments, Westfield Capital Management and Independence Investments. Previously, he spent several years overseeing, negotiating and structuring late stage and early stage investments for a number of venture capital funds at SoftBank Capital Partners, a unit of SoftBank Corp. Brian began his career as a corporate lawyer representing tech startup companies at Holland & Knight. He has an A.B., with honors, from Harvard University, and JD from Boston College Law School.
Simon Sharp, VP of International Sales
With more than 18 years of sales execution, leadership and management experience in cybersecurity, fraud and telecommunications, Simon leads ObserveIT’s international sales strategy, management and execution.
He has held strategic sales management and leadership roles with market-leading cybersecurity organizations including Entrust, RSA (Dell Technologies), Pindrop, and Cybereason. With many sales achievement awards, Simon has demonstrated the energy, passion and creativity required to ensure his customers succeed in competitive and emerging markets.
Erica Sheehan, VP of Marketing
Erica joins ObserveIT with more than 17 years of marketing experience with leading technology organizations including Director of Americas Marketing for Akamai Technologies and Global Marketing Director for Endeca Technologies (acquired by Oracle).
She received her Executive M.B.A. degree from Harvard University, her M.A. from Emerson College, and her B.A. degree from Trinity College, Hartford, CT.
Kristin Thornby, VP of People Strategy
Kristin leads ObserveIT’s talent approach globally, focusing on our greatest asset, our people. Kristin is a strategic HR partner with a proven track record of attracting talent, enabling inspiration, and facilitating development and retention across high profile global organizations.
Prior to joining ObserveIT, Kristin spent 12 years with the Publicis Groupe where she held numerous leadership roles, accountable for developing, leading and executing comprehensive people strategies across multiple global organizations.
Tal Tikotzki, Vice President, Engineering
Tal is a senior technologist who is passionate about driving technology teams to achieve the impossible.
He has developed a successful track record as development manager with more than 20 years of experience starting as one of the founders of Aeronautics Ltd., a leading aerial robotics company, where he served as VP, Research and Development. Tal led the team from inception to a well-established R&D group delivering the highest quality products in groundbreaking delivery times.
Tal also served as VP, Engineering and General Manager of Gizmox, Reddo Mobility and was Co-founder and CTO of Colibri Sense.
John Vigeant, VP of Americas Sales
John directs sales and partnership efforts across the United States, Canada, and Latin America for ObserveIT. John’s prior roles include serving as CEO of Reddo Mobility, CEO of Tracelytics, VP of Business Development for CloudBees, and as a key member of Citrix Systems’ Mergers and Acquisitions team.
John entered Citrix through the 2007 acquisition of XenSource where he oversaw the company’s most strategic business development and OEM relationships with companies like HP, Dell, and Citrix.

Ben is the Co-Managing Partner and leads the technology and infrastructure software investing efforts for Bain Capital Ventures. He is also the CEO of turbonomic. Ben has been recognized in the past 4 consecutive years by Forbes Midas list as one of the top Venture Capital Investors in the US as well as by AON Venture Capital East Top 50.
A Harvard Scholar, Ben graduated, with honors, from Harvard College and Harvard Business School.

Avi co-founded ObserveIT in 2006 and served as its CEO from the company’s inception until 2014, when he hired a new, US-based CEO and focused his own role on managing the company’s Israel-based operations. Earlier in his career, Avi served in the role of VP Marketing for a leading Israeli Web portal, NetKing and as VP Marketing for a catalog marketing business owned by Yediot Ahronot, one of Israel’s largest news media companies.

Gaby Friedlander co-founded ObserveIT in 2006 with the singular goal of detecting insider threats and stopping data loss for Security Officers, CIOs, and IT managers. Since then, he has built ObserveIT into the world’s leading provider of Insider Threat Monitoring and Prevention solutions.
Gaby is a frequent speaker on the topic of IT Security and Risk and has presented in more than 25 countries.
Director and Operating Partner, Bain Capital Ventures
Currently an Operating Partner at Bain Capital Ventures, Jeff has had an incredibly successful career as a serial entrepreneur who has led sales at organizations such as GlobalCenter (acquired by Exodus Communications in 2001), IntruVert Networks (acquired by McAfee in 2003), and IronPort Systems (acquired by Cisco in 2007). Most recently, Jeff served as Senior Vice President of Sales at FireEye, a leading enterprise security platform. Jeff was FireEye’s first sales leader and helped transform the company into a market-leading enterprise security company, culminating in a successful public offering in 2013.
Jeff has also served on the Board of Directors of cloud infrastructure startup Meraki Wireless (acquired by Cisco in 2012), cloud security startup OpenDNS (acquired by Cisco in 2015), and Adallom (acquired by Microsoft in 2015).
Director and CEO of Sevone
Jack is a highly successful entrepreneur and CEO who has led seven high-growth, technology companies. He has served at the helm of six companies as CEO, leading all to successful returns for investors. In addition to his CEO role at SevOne, Jack is an Operating Partner for Bain Capital Ventures, chairman of VMTurbo, and board member at Rapid 7.
He has served in executive roles at Axeda, AppNeta (formerly Apparent Networks, Inc.), EMC, Stargus, and EPiCON Inc.
Founder of Aveska and founding team member of Netegrity, Deepak brings 25 years of experience in the creation and leadership of enterprise software companies to ObserveIT.
Mr. Taneja holds a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and holds an M.S. from the University of Florida.
Larry Whiteside Jr.
Larry is focused on helping security executives in healthcare develop a comprehensive security program that balances risk and aligns with the overall business goals. He is also responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive suite of strategic services and solutions to help security executives improve their security strategies through innovation.
Bain Capital VP and CISO, Advisor
Prior to joining Bain, Mark spent time with Dell SecureWorks partnering with organizations to mature all aspects of their information security programs. He holds the CISSP certification, has a B.Sc. Honors degree from the University of Gloucestershire in England, an M.B.A. from Babson College, and completed the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative at Harvard University. He is currently in the process of completing an Executive Masters in Cyber Security at Brown University.
