Michael McKee, CEO & Director
Mike brings 20+ years of cross-functional, global experience in technology to ObserveIT.
Previously, Mike led the award-winning Global Services and Customer Success organizations at Rapid7, served as Senior Vice President CAD Operations and Strategy at PTC, and Chief Financial Officer at HighWired.com. Additionally, he held Analyst roles at Broadview Associates, McKinsey & Company, and Goldman Sachs. Mike played professional hockey as a defenseman for the Quebec Nordiques. He graduated cum laude from Princeton University and received an M.B.A., with honors, from Harvard Business School.
Chris Bush, Head of Security
Chris is a dedicated and passionate security professional with more than 20 years of IT security industry experience. Chris is responsible for ObserveIT’s information and operational security strategy. His prior experience includes serving as VP of Security Service at Cybereason where he built and operated a Managed Detection and Response service. In his prior roles Chris spent 13 years at Novartis Pharmaceuticals where he served as Head of Security and was responsible for information security, risk, and security operations. During his tenure at Novartis, he spent several years managing internal investigations within the Ethics & Compliance division, held position as Director of a global Detection & Response team, and worked within the Legal department as an Associate Director of e-Discovery. Chris has also held senior technology positions at Ricoh Corporation.
Chris holds a B.A. Degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and in his free time, enjoys expressing his creativity by drawing and painting.
John Quinn, Vice President, Channel, Americas
John has 20 years of channel and direct sales experience, as well as, experience in channel strategy development and sales leadership.
Prior to ObserveIT John held sales leadership roles at Extreme Networks, Infoblox, IronPort/Cisco, FireEye, and most recently Digital Guardian. John has created the foundational strategies for routes-to-market in the US and globally including VAR’s, Distributors, MSSP’s, Service Providers, Integrators, and Strategic Alliances, helping to accelerate growth.
John holds a B.A. Degree from Siena Heights University and spends time assisting local community organizations to be successful in their missions, including work as a youth basketball coach.
Will Porter, Chief Financial Officer
With more than 25 years of experience at both private and public companies, Will brings extensive financial, accounting, legal and operational experience in high-growth environments. Prior to joining ObserveIT, he served as CFO of both BlueTarp Financial and Signiant. Before Signiant, Will served as VP of Finance at Phase Forward where he played a leading role in the Company’s IPO. He has also held roles in finance and accounting at Epsilon Data Management, WebHire, Summit Technology and Arthur Andersen, LLP where he earned his CPA.
Will graduated from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Alex Kremer, Vice President, Chief Architect
Alex joins the engineering team with more than 20 years of experience covering micro-service architectures and collaborative platforms, cloud computing, media processing, distributed systems, data security and cryptography. Prior to joining ObserveIT, Alex served as the VP of Platform Architecture, Intralinks, where he led the Platform Architecture team and the design of the collaborative SaaS platform blueprint and foundational services. Alex also served as Chief Cloud Platform Architect at Avid Technology and held senior technology positions at Guardium (now IBM InfoSphere Guardium), a database security and insider threat mitigation solution, and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Kremer holds both a Bachelor and Master degree in Computer Science from the Hebrew University in Israel.
Tal Tikotzki, Vice President, Engineering
Tal is a senior technologist who is passionate about driving technology teams to achieve the impossible.
He has developed a successful track record as development manager with more than 20 years of experience starting as one of the founders of Aeronautics Ltd., a leading aerial robotics company, where he served as VP, Research and Development. Tal led the team from inception to a well-established R&D group delivering the highest quality products in groundbreaking delivery times.
Tal also served as VP, Engineering and General Manager of Gizmox, Reddo Mobility and was Co-founder and CTO of Colibri Sense.
Josh Epstein, Chief Marketing Officer
Josh Epstein has 20+ years experience in technology marketing and strategy roles.
Previously he has held a range of marketing, strategy and business development roles at startups including Kaminario, Reddo Mobility as well as global technology companies including EMC, CA Technologies, Acme Packet, and Oracle. Additionally, Josh is an active advisor to several early-stage, Boston-area technology companies. He holds a B.S. in Operations Research from Cornell and an MBA from MIT Sloan.
Kristin Thornby, Vice President, People Strategy
Kristin leads ObserveIT’s talent approach globally, focusing on our greatest asset, our people. Kristin is a strategic HR partner with a proven track record of attracting talent, enabling inspiration, and facilitating development and retention across high profile global organizations.
Prior to joining ObserveIT, Kristin spent 12 years with the Publicis Groupe where she held numerous leadership roles, accountable for developing, leading and executing comprehensive people strategies across multiple global organizations.
Mayank Choudhary, Senior Vice President, Products and Strategy
Mayank Choudhary, MC, is a technology leader with more than 18 years of Cybersecurity and Content Management industry experience. MC is responsible for charting and executing the strategic course of ObserveIT’s solutions. His prior experience includes serving as VP, Product Management, at Intralinks where he built the Enterprise business and managed the cloud platform, Director of Product Management, Identity Management & Governance, CloudMinder portfolio for CA Technologies and senior product management positions at Dell EMC. MC holds an M.B.A. from the University of Albany, a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Akron, a B.S. in Computer Science from Nagpur University and an Executive Education degree in Strategy & Innovation from MIT.

In addition to his CEO role at SevOne, Jack is an Operating Partner for Bain Capital Ventures, chairman of Turbonomic, and board member at Rapid 7.
He has served in executive roles at Axeda, AppNeta (formerly Apparent Networks, Inc.), EMC, Stargus, and EPiCON Inc.
Vice Chairman and Founder NightDragon Security
A veteran CEO, advisor, and investor who has led companies, from startups to the Fortune 500, on a transformational journey of success. Focused on technology and cybersecurity, Dave helped create more than $20 billion of shareholder value during his 15 plus years as President & CEO of three major companies. Today he serves as a the managing director of NightDragon Security as well an investor and board member in the world’s most innovative companies such as Delta Airlines, Five9, ForeScout, Phantom Cyber, CallSign, Claroty, Team8, DataTribe, Illusive Networks, and Optiv.
Dave was named one of the 25 most influential executives in high technology by the readers of the industry publication CRN. He has spoken at the World Economic Forum on the issue of cyber security and keynoted at several technology industry conferences including Interop and Software 2008 and RSA.
Partner and Chief Operating Officer, Bain Capital Ventures
Paul serves as Partner and COO at Bain Capital Ventures. Paul joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2007 and leads the strategy of all of Bain Capital Ventures key administrative functions, including compliance, finance, human resources, investor relations, legal and marketing.
Prior to Bain Capital Ventures, Paul was chief operating officer of Mercer Outsourcing, a $750 million division of Mercer focused on outsourced technology. He was previously the president of GoldK (acquired) and chief financial officer of MCK, a Summit Partners portfolio company that he helped take public. Paul started his career as a consultant with Bain & Company.
Paul received his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Georgetown University.
Director and Operating Partner, Bain Capital Ventures
Currently an Operating Partner at Bain Capital Ventures, Jeff has had an incredibly successful career as a serial entrepreneur who has led sales at organizations such as GlobalCenter (acquired by Exodus Communications in 2001), IntruVert Networks (acquired by McAfee in 2003), and IronPort Systems (acquired by Cisco in 2007). Most recently, Jeff served as Senior Vice President of Sales at FireEye, a leading enterprise security platform. Jeff was FireEye’s first sales leader and helped transform the company into a market-leading enterprise security company, culminating in a successful public offering in 2013.
Jeff has also served on the Board of Directors of cloud infrastructure startup Meraki Wireless (acquired by Cisco in 2012), cloud security startup OpenDNS (acquired by Cisco in 2015), and Adallom (acquired by Microsoft in 2015).
Founder of Aveska and founding team member of Netegrity, Deepak brings 25 years of experience in the creation and leadership of enterprise software companies to ObserveIT.
Mr. Taneja holds a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and holds an M.S. from the University of Florida.
Co-Founder and Director
Avi co-founded ObserveIT in 2006 and served as its CEO from the company’s inception until 2014, when he hired a new, US-based CEO and focused his own role on managing the company’s Israel-based operations. Earlier in his career, Avi served in the role of VP Marketing for a leading Israeli Web portal, NetKing and as VP Marketing for a catalog marketing business owned by Yediot Ahronot, one of Israel’s largest news media companies.
Bain Capital VP and CISO, Advisor
Prior to joining Bain, Mark spent time with Dell SecureWorks partnering with organizations to mature all aspects of their information security programs. He holds the CISSP certification, has a B.Sc. Honors degree from the University of Gloucestershire in England, an M.B.A. from Babson College, and completed the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative at Harvard University. Mark holds an Executive Masters in Cyber Security from Brown University.
VP and Strategic Services CTO, FireEye/Mandiant
Charles is a seasoned security leader with over 18 years of experience helping organizations become more resilient to attacks. He and his team have investigated hundreds of complex security breaches orchestrated by foreign governments and organized criminal groups. He is regarded as a trusted advisor who has coached boards and executives on how to measure and manage enterprise risk. Charles received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Florida.
Dr. Edward Amoroso
CEO, TAG Cyber LLC, Advisor
Dr. Amoroso is CEO of TAG Cyber. Amoroso retired from AT&T after 31 years of service, beginning in Unix security R&D at Bell Labs and culminating as Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer of AT&T from 2004 to 2016. Amoroso has been Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at the Stevens Institute of Technology for the past 30 years where he has introduced more than two thousand graduate students to information security. He is the author of six books on cybersecurity. Amoroso holds a B.S. degree in physics from Dickinson College and M.S./Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the Stevens Institute of Technology; he is a graduate of the Columbia Business School. He holds 10 patents in the areas of cybersecurity and media technology.
Chief Information Risk Officer, CBS Corporation, Advisor
Joel is responsible for information security, data privacy and content protection for CBS’ portfolio of global media and entertainment businesses. Prior to joining CBS, Joel was Assistant Director of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board. Previous to his time at the White House, Joel was an executive of the National Security Agency (NSA).
Joel has an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. from Colgate University. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and has earned several technical information security certifications from GIAC/SANS.
