Bank Leumi Case Study
Bank Leumi, one of Israel's top three banks, provides banking services in Israel and internationally. The bank provides banking services to households and private customers, as well as businesses and local authorities. It also offers financial services to middle market companies, construction companies and projects, and private customers residing in Israel and internationally. The Leumi Group currently has more than 317 branches and representations across 21 countries worldwide including some of the world's leading financial centers.
In order to prepare the bank for emergency situations, during which the bank employees would have to work as "tele-commuters", the bank has prepared a Remote-Access-Plan (RAP). As part of this ambitious plan, the remotel employees go through a Citrix gateway, which guarantees safe and secure access. Bank Leumi had to record and monitor this activity in order to comply with the banking regulations.
Bank Leumi integrated ObserveIT solutions and created an audited gateway. This way, all the remote users' activities would be recorded for future possible audit.
