Xerox Case Study
Xerox is the world’s leading enterprise for business process and document management, with nearly $22 billion in annual revenues. More than half of Xerox’s global revenues come from services built by their Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) division. Arvo Bowen, Xerox ACS’s Network and Security Administrator, needed a solution to monitor and track the activity of the hundreds of in-office and remote workers responsible for digitizing and indexing real property documents, birth certificates, death certificates, marriage licenses and other official documents for all 159 counties in the state of Georgia.
Arvo’s team uses ObserveIT to track all activity of employees working in Xerox’s Atlanta office, remote workers and outside contractors. “The video playback is terrific, and ObserveIT’s user activity logs make it very easy to quickly review what users are doing, and to search for particular actions, such as any time a user modified or deleted a particular file,” explained Arvo. “Recordings of user actions provide faster IT troubleshooting and incident response, with bullet-proof visual forensics. Having video evidence of any situation is priceless.”
